How efficient is a MOT?
From the top of my head, I know a MOT is somewhere around 60-80% efficient in power transfer at 50-60Hz, and with an increase in driving frequency(AC), it drops to 20% efficient and even less at around 200Hz(core saturation). I want someone to confirm or correct these numbers for me, and preferably some links to research papers where these numbers are validated. I only need a plot or a graph. That's all I need. My question is For a regular standard MOT found in all modern microwave ovens. A plot with efficiency(Pout/Pin) on oy axis versus frequency on ox axis. I know for a fact I've seen this graph somewhere on the web, I just can't find it anymore. Please help.
